Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Gainesville will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in Florida usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

Gainesville is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Gainesville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Enjoyed the sparkling mango matcha. Found the mix refreshing, balanced and delicious. Cute little spot with a crew that is on top of it and well engaged with each customer.

They get up in the morning, dreaming of the days when they werenβt dazed imagining majestic flowers sneaking above ground coughing up the pollen of yesterdayβs sorrows suffocating in the smell of sage and smog. They stay out in the Afternoon, enjoying the energetic epilogue of the Happening knowing what has been done cannot be undone accepting the realities which slept in their minds

As for the good, the coffees we got were near perfection. The iced latte was smooth and flavorful. The indoor seating is tiny but the outdoor seating is great and thereβs lots of places to sit and hang out. Also the service was very fast. As far as the cons go, the pricing is a little higher than most shops weβve been to. The friendliness of the staff is not the greatest and there is political messaging in the form of papers near the counter. One other thing, we are a husband and wife with a toddler and we were literally the only ones there that were a family. It was absolutely crammed pack with college students and they were all in athletic gear. I donβt know if we came at the time of an event or something. Overall, itβs a solid coffee shop with a good selection and they also have food (selection varies).

Great coffee and service. We go there every weekend and miss it when we are out of town. Highly recommended. It also a short walk from depot park which makes it very convenient. We love their affogato, cappuccino, and iced latte.
